Migori County Governor H.E Dr. Ochilo Ayacko this morning proudly represented fellow governors during the first national panel discussion on Good Governance at the ongoing 2025 Devolution Conference in Homa Bay County.
Speaking at the high-level session, the Governor emphasized the critical role of synergy and collaboration among county governments as key drivers for effective service delivery. He reiterated his commitment to promoting strong governance structures that ensure both collective and individual prosperity across counties.
“The discussion underscored the importance of synergy for optimum service delivery, a principle I am fully committed to, as we work towards the prosperity of our county, both collectively and individually,” the Governor stated.
The Devolution Conference, which brings together leaders from national and county governments, development partners, civil society, and private sector stakeholders, serves as a key platform for evaluating the progress of devolution in Kenya and charting the way forward.
This year’s theme focusing on governance, equity, and sustainable development has drawn a record number of participants, with the Good Governance panel standing out as a highlight in the push to enhance accountability and transparency in public service.
