The Department of Agriculture officially commenced the distribution of certified maize and bean seeds to farmers in East Kanyamkago Ward, Uriri Constituency. Led by Chief Officer for Agriculture Mr. Isaac Madafu, alongside area MCA and the agricultural officers of Uriri Subcounty,the team successfully provided 261 farmers with a total of 1,044 kilograms of quality seeds.

This initiative is a direct reflection of Governor Ochilo Ayacko’s robust agenda on agriculture.With this planting season upon us, we are empowering our farmers to cultivate their land effectively, contributing to our county’s resilience against the challenges of food scarcity.As we support our farmers, we take a significant step towards achieving food security, fostering economic stability, and improving the overall well-being of our communities.
