- Existing cultural sites – there are several historical sites in Migori County, Thim Lich Ohinga world Heritage archaeological gazetted by UNESCO in 1919, Gogo falls, White sand beaches of Muhuru and Karungu along Lake Victoria, historical and cultural sites of Mugabo caves in Muhuru Bay, God Kweru religious shrines in Suna West, Artisanal gold panning works at Macalder mines, and Migingo Island in Nyatike Sub- County.
