A three-day training program for County Program Coordination Team (CPCT) members and county technical staff under the Second Kenya Urban Support Programme (KUSP II) is currently underway at Wigot Hotel. The session, which began yesterday on 15th April,2026 and is set to conclude tomorrow, is led by Waziri Hon. Mercy Wanjau and focuses on enhancing urban planning, governance, and project implementation capacity.

KUSP II, a World Bank-supported initiative, aims to strengthen urban institutions and improve infrastructure in municipalities across Kenya. The ongoing training is equipping Migori County staff with practical skills to effectively deliver sustainable urban development.

Under the leadership of H.E. Ochilo Ayacko, Migori County continues to prioritize capacity building and institutional strengthening as key drivers for improved service delivery and urban transformation
