Migori County Sweet Potato Processing Plant (Getonganya)is set to hit retail market shelves after attaining Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) product certification. After rigorous testing and standardization, our three products were found to be compliant with national standards for food quality and safety.

The county’s flagship project achieved certification for the following three products:- Orange Fleshed Sweet Potato Flour,Composite Flour (a blend of Orange Fleshed Sweet Potato Flour, Finger Millet, and Sorghum Flour) and Orange Fleshed Sweet Potato Puree

This certification enhances our products’ marketability and assures consumers of their nutritional value, particularly in addressing food security and health issues such as vitamin A deficiency in Kenya.
