President Ruto and Governors Review Devolution and Service Delivery

H.E. Dr. Ochilo Ayacko joined President William Samoei Ruto and fellow governors at State House, Nairobi, for the 13th National and County Governments Coordinating Summit. The summit focused on key issues affecting devolution and service delivery, including financing of devolved functions, intergovernmental relations, county human resource and payroll challenges, substance abuse, insecurity, and preparedness for the anticipated El Niño rains. The leaders reaffirmed the need for stronger cooperation between the National and County Governments and emphasized the importance of implementing the summit’s resolutions to improve public services and the welfare of Kenyans.
