All the departments of the Migori county government presented before the Deputy Governor Dr. Mahiri Gimunta the performance report for the first quarter of this financial year highlighting completed development projects, projects earmarked for implementation, programs undertaken, and those in the pipeline, pending bills, challenges, and crosscutting issues.
The Deputy Governor expressed satisfaction with the progress made by the county government departments and urged them to continue putting in the effort to serve the people of Migori effectively. He commended the various departments for completing development projects and emphasized the need for more collaboration between the different departments to enhance service delivery and ensure efficient use of resources.
He further urged the departments to focus on implementing projects that address the needs of the people and have a significant impact on their lives. He also called on them to prioritize settling pending bills to avoid any disruptions to ongoing projects. The Deputy Governor assured them of the county government’s commitment to addressing these challenges and prevailed upon them to work collaboratively, identify cross-cutting issues, and come up with innovative solutions to the challenges they face.
