H.E Governor Dr.Ochilo Ayacko outlined provision of quality medical services as one of his top agenda.The governor envisioned a Migori county whose residents receive quality medical care in all the health facilities in the county to satisfying standards.
Towards making the above mentioned a reality,today,the governor officiated the distribution of medical equipment, drugs,non pharmaceutical assortments and other medical consignment worth Ksh.110 million to all the healthcare institutions in the county.Furthermore,His Excellency presided over the inauguration of the first ever Migori County Blood Satellite.Stationed at the County Referral Hospital,the blood bank is projected to address issues of emergencies and general cases that require blood transfusion to patients.
The department of health has prevailed upon the public to make it a habit of visiting the hospital to donate blood for this is a call to serve humanity.
