Migori County Governor HE Dr. Ochilo Ayacko Hosts ACAL Delegation to Evaluate Urban Support Program Performance

Migori County Governor, Dr. Ochilo Ayacko, recently hosted a delegation from the African Centre for Advanced Learning (ACAL) during a courtesy visit to his office. The meeting centered on evaluating the First Annual Performance of 45 counties under the Second Kenya Urban Support Program. This initiative aims to assess the counties’ preparedness and performance against the program’s minimum conditions and standards.

During the discussions, both parties emphasized the importance of meeting these benchmarks to ensure sustainable urban development. The evaluation will provide valuable insights into the strengths and areas for improvement for each county, guiding future strategies and interventions. Governor Ayacko expressed his commitment to leveraging the findings to enhance Migori County’s urban infrastructure and services, ultimately improving the quality of life for its residents.

The ACAL team commended Migori County for its proactive approach and readiness to engage in such evaluations, highlighting the county’s dedication to continuous improvement and excellence in urban management.
