Today, the Deputy Governor led a team from the Kenya Ports Authority and county government officials to assess potential development projects at Muhuru Bay and Sori Beach in Nyatike Sub County.
The team explored plans for establishing a new port and landing site at Muhuru Bay, as well as evaluating the feasibility of a warehouse and cold storage facility at Sori Beach. Discussions highlighted the anticipated positive impact these projects could have on local trade and economic growth.
This visit reinforces the government’s commitment to fostering partnerships that drive sustainable development in Migori County, paving the way for a prosperous future for the community.
