H.E Governor Ochillo Ayacko paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Oluga Ouma, the Principal Secretary for Medical Services, at the Ministry of Health headquarters in Nairobi, where they held discussions on key strategies to enhance healthcare delivery in Migori County.
According to a statement from the governor, the meeting focused on several critical issues, including the digitization of health services—a move expected to boost efficiency and accessibility across the county’s health facilities. The two leaders also deliberated on the urgent need to upgrade medical equipment and infrastructure, implement the Social Health Agenda (SHA), and improve the welfare of healthcare workers.
Governor Ayacko expressed optimism that continued collaboration with the national government would help drive meaningful reforms in the county’s health sector.
