During the ceremony, the governor and County officials actively participated in planting a variety of tree species. He stressed the vital role that afforestation plays in mitigating the impacts of climate change while safeguarding the environment. He called upon the residents to embrace tree planting within their homes, schools, and public spaces. He explained that trees offer numerous benefits, including carbon dioxide reduction, air quality improvement, and erosion prevention.
